Score Keeper App in App Store
I am excited to announce the release of my new app called Score Keeper by Learning Dojo. Score Keeper is a simple app designed to keep score between two teams. It was originally designed in my last job when we had a foosball table that had no score tracker. I volunteered to develop the app using Appcelerator Titanium, the same software I teach on for one of my courses.
To add a little spice to it I had one of my co-workers add some positive random comments if you add a point and then some snarky random comments if you take away a point. It was a fun afternoon coding this simple app. I never got around to submitting the app until I decided to go back to it over the holidays and add on a few more setting tweaks.
Once I submitted to the App Store I just had to make a few tweaks and it was live! I learned a lot from the process and plan on updating my Appcelerator Titanium Course with some of my knowledge I gained like global variables, creating and writing to a local MySQL database.
Check out the App:
If you purchase my Appcelerator Titanium online course now you will get those updates to the course as the come out which should be within the next couple of months.
I will also be creating a section within the training that will show you how to build the Score Keeper app and other simple apps so you can see Titanium more in action.
